Vibrations/bodily sensations

Hey all, The other night after meditating for a good 15 minutes or so, apart from feeling very soft and relaxed I started to feel some vibrations in my arm. This is the second time this has happened, first time was vibrations in my back. I have read up on info regarding vibrations before and know th...

I forgot how to lucid dream and dream recall

Hey, I used to be in a good routine and could recall 1 dream every night, and I was able to have 2 lucid dreams after the first 20 days of dream journaling. Problem is i haven't dream journaled or recalled any dreams in the last 3 or 4 months and now find myself right back at the begining. My questi...

Ear plugs?

Hey, Ok so im making good progress with lucid dreaming, I have just had my 3rd, and this time was a WILD, it was an unbelievably sensual and empowering experience. I know about techniques that prolonge lucid dreams, things like reminding yourself its a dream, focusing on details, looking at the palm...

Returning to a Lucid dream

Hey, I just had my second lucid, however was pretty short, I felt the dream slowly slip away so I started spinning, and I could feel the dream stabilizing, I was hanging on by a thread, and then someone in my house sneezed and I woke up instantly.. I guess the reason a dream becomes so vivid is beca...

Re: Hypnagogic state

Alright thanks. Its so interesting, and I actually look forward to going to bed. 2-3 weeks ago I had no idea what a lucid dream was, and I could remember 1 dream a month, now I have been able to remember 4-5 per week and 1 lucid so far. I'll try a MILD tonight. Even if my dream isn't lucid, I'm glad...

Re: Hypnagogic state

Ok thanks for the advice everyone, much appreciated :) My first lucid dream happened when I woke up early hours of the night to use the bathroom, and returned to bed. I guess because I got up my conciousness rose and once I returned to bed my mind easily moved into a theta state and I achieved lucid...

Re: Hypnagogic state

I have attempted this once and started to feel somewhat numb and hazy as I lay completely still for about 15 minutes, but at that point I got excited and my heart rate picked up and I lost focus. So I gather its just best to try after at least 4 hours to get the deep sleep cycles out of the way?
