Re: Is it possible to train skills in a lucid dream?

I remember reading in Daniel Love's book 'Are you dreaming?' (and also some places on the web) about research that has been done into practicing/rehearsing in the lucid dream-state. They would get the test-subject (who were experienced lucid dreamers) to perform a task or activity (I remember one of...

Re: Meditation in a lucid dream

If you're interested in this check out something called "Dream Yoga". It's practiced by a specific branch (or branches) of Buddhism and is basically a Buddhist way of approaching lucid dreaming. I believe they also incorporate meditation within the dream into their practices! As far as I k...

Re: First Lucid Dream experience, cut short due to dream dia

Hi guys, Thanks for all the replies, it's been very helpful! The more I experiment and discover the more I learn that the LD experience seems to be like walking a tightrope between waking/dreaming somehow.. try too hard and you'll fall back into waking, focus too little and you'll fall the other way...

Physical sensations crossing over from dream-world

Last night I dreamt, I didn't recall much of the dream, just the last bit before I woke up. I am rushing around, running somewhere. I have no idea where I'm going or why exactly I'm in a rush. At some point I'm running through a massive car park, like the ones you see around airports. The sky is ove...

Effects of cannabis on recall?

Do any of you have experience with this? I read the book "Are You Dreaming?" by Daniel Love (can highly recommend it!), in which it suggests nicotine can increase dream intensity, but I haven't been able to find anything on cannabis so far. It seems (in my experience) it makes my dreams mo...

First Lucid Dream experience, cut short due to dream diary!

So this morning I had my first LD.. albeit a very, very short one. It started with a few non-lucid dreams that were quite vivid, until eventually I woke up. The first thing I woke up, before opening my eyes, was "I must write these dreams in my diary now!". As I lay there trying to remembe...

Re: 1000 things to do in a lucid dream

First post on this forum, great resource! Figured this would be the best place to make a first post.. 567. Switch bodies with a DC and have sex with yourself 568. Switch around you arms and legs and see what life is like upside down 569. Be the referee in a boxing match between The Beatles and Led Z...
