Re: Lucid Dreams are Unhealthy.

Man. As much as I hate to jump on the Flame Train here...especially considering the fact that it is more than likely no one will read my post at this point amongst all the other replies...I simply cannot resist the incredible urge to say to the OP:... ..Um. Wat. So many terrible points. So many. I'l...

How to make the transition from hypnagogia to LD.

Subject line says it all. How do YOU guys personally make the transition? I've been getting so close to perfect WILDs lately at bedtime. no wbtb necessary. But 9 times out of 10, I go directly from imagery/auditory hallucinations... to falling asleep. (or to getting freaked out and waking myself up ...

Re: SOMEONE help me get over anxiety during WILD!

Also.... Taniaaust , Your input was probably the most useful. That isn't sleep paralyses as one doesn't toss and turn in sleep paralyses state. if you are rolling around like that you are actually already in a full dream state. In a sleep paralyses state a person experiences no movement!! No dream m...

Re: SOMEONE help me get over anxiety during WILD!

I very much appreciate everyone's input, but you guys are just not getting it, Lol. I -know- how to WILD. I know how to LD. I am very aware of the concept and the procedure. "You allow yourself to fall asleep while you stay conscious, Your body falls asleep while your mind stays awake".......

SOMEONE help me get over anxiety during WILD!

Most nights, I can get pretty close to a successful WILD if I go to bed tired enough. I'd say at least once every other night I feel like I'm getting a reasonable shot at it. I'll start hearing things, or getting tipping sensations.... So on, so forth. All the basic LD precursors. But so MUCH lately...

Re: Why do I keep having dreams about my ex from years ago?!

You googled it :P

I did, too, lol, and that's what I turned up with.

But thank you for your effort, I appreciate it.

No new relationship, really.
And yeah, I guess he's 'himself' in the dreams. Aside from the fact that wanting us to be together is not like the 'himself' I knew back when.

Re: Immediate Dreams?

Yeah, whatever you read about LD's or dreams in general only being possible after the 90-minute mark or whatever, It all seems to be crap, in my opinion. Maybe it takes that long for a specific QUALITY of dreams, I don't know, but what I do know, is that bedtime WILDs (or wbtb wild's, for that matte...

Re: St John's Wort

As a person above me said... if St John's Wort only works for dreaming due to its melatonin content, you'd be better off just taking straight melatonin. it's like $4 for a good-sized bottle of it at WalMart or wherever. It aids sleep and some say it helps with dream stuff. Keep taking the St John's ...

Why do I keep having dreams about my ex from years ago?!

Topic sentence says it all.... maybe one of you experienced interpreters can shed some light. Pretty regularly (once a month or so) for the past year... and sporadically for a year or so before that....I've had dreams about an ex of mine in particular. I guess you could say I liked him more than I l...
