Re: Been trying to LD since 2014

Hey welcome to the forum! (I don't even know if I have the seniority to say that since I just joined myself haha) I was making massive progress when I had a friend doing it with me, and then we kinda went our separate ways and for a while I had no progress at all. Then since joining this forum, I'm ...

Re: Sort of achieved a few goals

When I wake up, I always realize I should've done some stuff differently Yeah, it's weird how even though we're lucid dreaming it's still hard to remember things clearly from waking life  I've never thought of fire breathing! I should try that sometime. I hope you accomplish your dream goals!...

Re: Sort of achieved a few goals

Congrats! I usually plan out a whole lucid dream beforehand, and then once I'm lucid my brain goes fuzzy and all I want to do is fly around and breathe fire hahah...I'm impressed by your self-control! Also thanks for the summoning technique, I really want to try that ! (If I can remember to...haha) ...

Re: Too scared?

Hey there, I've tried both WILDs and DILDs, and personally I find DILDs a much easier place to start. I've had dozens of DILDs, but only two WILDs so far, and those were very late in the morning. The method that works best for me is to go to sleep for 6 hours, then wake up for about 40 minutes and g...

Re: Beginner Questions Welcome!

Hey welcome to the forum X :D If you can't remember any dreams even straight from waking up, that may be because you're not waking up directly from a period of REM, when the dreams mostly happen. A good trick I learned from Stephen LaBerge is to set an alarm clock to wake up at an interval of 90mins...

Re: stablising

It's so true, Cabin. I'm yet to read Tolle's book but I practise mindfulness and lucidity goes well with it. It's about staying in the moment, remaining in the now whereby what would be distractions suddenly become things that arise in one's mind and vanish as quickly as they come while one remains...

Re: FILD deprived

Yeah, the same thing happened to me with FILD this morning :? I always find WILDs really tough cause you have to be focused and alert, but also be relaxed and drowsy. If I stay alert, it takes me hours to fall asleep, but if I let my mind wander that defeats the purpose. Practice makes perfect, I gu...

Re: stablising

Hey, This is just a personal theory, but it has worked like a charm for me. I struggled a ton with the same problem as you, stabilising the dream. The problem was always that I realise I'm dreaming and no matter what I try, it fades within seconds and no spinning technique or hand rubbing can stop m...
