Interesting Article About Dream Incubation and Recall - By Robert Moss

I recommend this interesting article. -
- "Don't Have A Dream? Make Something Up" - The Robert Moss Blog - mossdreams.blogspot.com

This article has many suggestions for improving dream recall, such as --

- Try to wake up naturally.
- "Be kind to (dream) fragments" and associations.
- Pay attention to borderline sleep hypnagogia images and feelings.
- Watch for synchronicity and "pop-up symbols" during daily life.
- Recovering "lost soul" joy, energy and imagination
- Try to find an interested friend to share dreams with.

There is also an account about the English writer, Graham Greene. When he was a teenager, he had a nervous breakdown. A wise mentor/psychiatrist asked Graham to each day report a dream. If he couldn't recall a dream, then "make up a story and tell it as a dream."

Robert Moss is the author of many interesting fiction and non-fiction books, including his popular "foundation book" - "Conscious Dreaming".

During his childhood in Australia, Robert had recurrent episodes of severe pneumonia, during which he had a number of near-death experiences, which catapulted him into lucid journeys into the inner world of shamanic dream time.

In many of his writings, Robert provides fascinating stories and skilled guidance regarding the exploration of -- non-lucid and lucid dreams, visionary experiences, and shamanic trance journeying, plus many wise insights about creative arts and creative living.

Oops, I left out an important suggestion by Robert Moss for incubating a dream.

Create or find an image related to a dream which you would like to have. Place this image next to your bed or under your pillow, and and before going to sleep, imagine encountering a similar image in a dream.
