I've been trying for a few months now to lucid dream. I do 6-10 reality checks a day, sometimes meditate, and usually eat a slice of cheddar cheese right before I try to go to sleep. Dreams are more consistent and I can recall emotions, thoughts, and images fairly well on better days, but I'm hitting a wall. Even if I think about becoming lucid inside the dream before I go to sleep, I never ever consider the possibility of being lucid while I'm dreaming. Thoughts are reactive to events and conversations, but never conscious. What else can I do?
