Skipping time with WILD?

Hello people, I wanted to share a weird experience with you.
Recently I've been able to get enough will to make the WBTB. I managed to stay awake for an hour watching videos and posts from this page for an hour and finally I tried to do the WILD. While doing WILD and being completely still I started to lose contact of the extreme parts of my body ( it took me a bit, as when I started to "lose" them, I tried to re-gain them :x ). While watching hypnagogia I had like a time jump, I mean, I didn't even noticed and i jumped from 5:00 AM to 9:00 AM -or at least I Remember it like that-.
What was my error? Is the problem that my recent move doesn't let me write my journal?
Thanks for your help

You simply fells asleep during your practice. I've heard of this commonly referred to as "clicking out".

You need to keep your mind more active while watching the hypnogogic images... you're losing your thread of awareness at this point and you're clicking out.

LOL-I do that all the time. I get to the nice calm state and then wake up a few minutes later after going to sleep. Its very annoying but ok as it is just one instant from a WILD so keep it up and as Ryan says keep you mind active in some way

Thanks for the answers! Any suggestions for having the mind occupied (but not occupied enough for me not to go asleep), because until now I was staring at the blackness and that didn't help...

Look up "active" meditations. :)

Or check out my website (link is in my sig) and look up meditation and "Tom Campbell". I've posted several articles where he teaches meditation in order to attain what he calls the "point consciousness state". That's the state you're actually attaining JUST PRIOR to a WILD.

Let me know if you have any other questions.
