These times of turmoil are probably not the best conditions for lucid dreaming. In my opinion 'trying harder' is a good thing, even though it works best if - at the same time - you accept the possibility that it won't work. What I'm trying to say is: whatever you do, try to be gentle to yourself and don't make lucid dreaming cause yourself more stress than you already have.

I wish you good luck and a cool head in this phase transition.
