difference between lucid dreaming, imagination?

Postby Jessi » 14 Oct 2012 17:21

does anyone know the difference between lucid dreaming and imagination? In a way you can say imagination is like day dreaming because you can have a picture of what you are thinking in your head. This happened to me like 3 weeks ago, i was talking to my friend and then i 'imagined' that i was touching raindrops and i could actually feel the coldness and wetness of it on my hands. After this i tried it a bit more and i could do it whenever i wanted to. It was just cool and a bit freaky.

in a dream anything goes. many times in very vivid dreams i have eaten, been drinking touching people, but i was not lucid, as it was all without me saying: now i will drink or eat. etc. at least that is how i understand, being lucid :)
