Okay, last night, 7/17/14. It was restless and sleepless. I went to bed at 9:30 and did the WBTB thing at 1:30. I was tossing and turning, and barely remember any dreams. Tonight I will try increasing the amount of time I spend awake during that WBTB stage, and see if I get any results.

Do any of you know if Melatonin supplement tablets help?

Thanks for the information. I think I'll try bineural beats first, they seem more science-y to me.

Want my advice? Try watching the TV in the middle of the night for about 5 hours without moving your body at all and see what happens. Let me just put it in this way: TV benefited me very much as a young child, and I depended on it very much for many years.

you never taught a 3 year old to lucid dream, unless you know some genius 3 year old. My 3 year old nephew can barely talk in a sentence, and when I ask him what dreams are he was no idea what I'm talking about. I've tried simplifying it too, he just dosnt get it.

you either taught a genius that is growing mentally way faster then the average 3 year old, or are lieing.

This is getting downright stupid. I just tried to take a nap for two hours, laid perfectly still the whole time and I couldn't even fall asleep (I am tired.) Why won't anybody help me? Please?! Taking breaks does not work, I have done that before. Bineural beats and meditation does not work, I just tried it! Why can't I lucid dream? Everyone keeps telling me, "Oh lucid dreaming is not all it's cracked up to be I almost died once in a blah blahblabha'BHSLHABHAOSGFVHO;BWRA GV

I know. In my heart. That I am destined to Lucid. Dream. Why. Can't. I.

I've never been depressed before in my life, and I never shall. But I have this feeling right now of... emptiness. I feel like I'm broken, less than human. Why can't I do it? How do you do it? Why won't you help me? Is this all I'll ever see?

Okay here, try this... Take a break from LD'ing (BUT NOT A LONG BREAK!) for maybe half a day, because you seem to be getting anxious which could impact your LD'ing negitively. After you take your break, start using your usual techniques again. That night
Or the next night, wake up and do a WBTB and do RC's constantly - you dont have to but if you want, eat some food that has vitamin B6 such as dairy, nuts, or meat. Then take 2-3 mg of melatonin(probably 2mg) and go to bed using binaural beats and meditate - or you could use self hypnosis. Hopefully this helps
Oh and when you go to bed, it wouldnt hurt to try some MILD
