What is your sleep position of choice?

Postby HAGART » 06 Mar 2012 17:20

I heard that sleep position can effect lucid dreaming.
When I try to go back to sleep in the middle of the night I tend to do the "dead man position." I lay on my back and rest my arms on my chest like a body in a coffin. But it never works. I can only sleep on my side in the classic fetal position.
Some of us are tummy sleepers, back sleepers, side sleepers.... I am just curious how you all sleep.

Do you hang upside down like a bat?! I think this will be interesting...........
If we all lucid dreamed this world would be a better place.

I sleep on my right side and all my LDs occur in that position, but that doesn't mean it wouldn't happen in another position, I just never try anything else. I think it's important to be comfortable and relaxed. Letting go seems to be vital in the process.
Have you ever had a dream, Neo, that you were so sure was real? What if you were unable to wake from that dream? How would you know the difference between the dream world and the real world? Morpheus

on my back
on my front
on my left side
on my right side
facing north
facing south
facing east
facing west
on the couch

I don't think it is important with the exception of comfort

I was just curious.
I'm a side sleeper myself.

But sometimes in the middle of the night when a wake up and try to go back to sleep I consider what position I should sleep in. But whatever is most comfortable is always the best position.

And if it happens to be hanging upside down facing east... who am I to judge?
