about me

Postby Schrodinger » 13 Oct 2013 18:23

I am a 64 yr old Vietnam veteran from 1967 1968 1969 1970
I served in Vietnam with 101st airborne, 5th Special Forces,
and two different Long Range Recon Patrol Companies
I am diagnosed with chronic combat PTSD
I have had nightmares related to Vietnam since 1969
so you will most likely guess that I would love to
control my dreamscape

Then just do it, think about your dreams and work out a plan and think about it as you are drifting off to sleep and in time you will make that first step to confronting your nightmares. Just pick one action and work on it, it can be passive or aggressive or even just a question to ask someone or something in the dream.
Who are you I asked, the reply "dont be silly, we are your daughers" many years before they were born

Wow, that's deep man, I respect you!

And lucid dreaming is the PERFECT way to cure PTSD.
I read about someone who overdosed on acid accidently, this awful trip left him with PTSD and awful nightmares for months.

When one the reccouring nightmare came along, he finally yelled "enough, I've had enough already! I get it!"

And instantly the entire nightmare turned into a teenage boys dream, a beach filled with bikni clad women and little drinks with umbrellas in them!

After that, he never experienced another nightmare related to his PTSD again.

Months of nightmares, cured in one lucid dream! Now that's the power of lucid dreaming!!:)

Here is another interesting article on this site involving PTSD and conquering reoccurring nightmares.
I wish you well and success!
If we all lucid dreamed this world would be a better place.
