Last night, I went to bed, same as usual, fell asleep and all that but at the last stage before sleep I woke up with a sudden jolt. This happens now and then so i brushed it off and tried to go back to sleep, but i noticed after every time i closed my eyes for like 5 seconds i would jump with that same jolt. It was like what you do when you wake up from a nightmare and almost jump out of bed your so nervous. This continuously went on for about an hour, lying in bed and jumping after 5 secs.... so after an hour of this i got up and walked around, went to the bathroom, read a book, and went back to sleep. I could still feel the jolts in my arms and back but they weren't as powerful and I fell asleep as normal.
Someone plz answer i dont want this to happen again
I need help

This ever happen before? If it's neurological It
might be symptomatic of some other issue. You
might want to consult with a doctor but don't tell
him about your lucid dreaming quest. In my opinion
these people don't respond well to the unusual.

I've had it happen when I try to do a WILD, I don't believe it's anything medical but it was a good idea to get up and take a break from trying to sleep.
What usually does it for me is that even if I don't really realize it, I'm still trying to pay attention to real life so as a result I'll jolt awake.

Re: I need help
It happens commonly to me and I dont know if it is related to my relaxation state as Im near asleep (so should be very relaxed) when it occurs.
Fortunately I havent had it happen thou when Ive been trying to WILD.
