dreams are better than reality

Hello. I am in college and I am very depressed. I would like to know how to lucid dream. i rather have my happiness in my dreams where i can be in so MUCH MORE CONTROL. please. help me start lucid dreaming. i would really appreciate it. i want to use it as a coping mechanism... and leave my old habit.

You can certainly use lucid dreaming as a kind of therapy. But first you will have to learn how to induce lucid dreams and then manage them. The degree of control will grow with time and practice. Here is a link to get started:

In the meantime, rather than seeking escapism from the real world, why not face what bothers you. I am pretty sure that your mind will emerge stronger from such exercise. You will find peace when you learn to accept that, in reality, we are never really in control of anything.
