can someone figure this out…

I woke from a dream in which I desperately wanted to go back to, so I attempted to and (I'm assuming) fell back asleep - then I "saw" that dream basically on pause and also saw myself asleep. What's perplexing is; if this was an OBE / astral projection, wouldn't that only explain just seeing myself asleep and not the paused dream? So there was basically 3 of me? very confusing...

There are no real OBEs or astral projection. They are all just dreams that can give you the illusion of being out-of-body or perambulating other worlds. The truth is that it is all in your mind and you are either lucid or you're not.

there's no way of knowing what that experience was so I wouldn't worry about trying to give it a label. You can also dream anything, even dream of seeing your body.

If you ever want a label ask summ, He knows everything

''sorry summ, I'm picking on you a lot lately, but its all in good faith''
''you must excuse my personality''

Okay! Here's my rendition of lucid dreaming: it does not reflect the same cerebral state as ordinary dreaming; it is a hybrid condition where, at its finest, one is practically awake in one's dreams. We call such elusive mental mode 'the phase' or 'phase state' at Raduga's Phase Research Centre and OBE4u.com website. See, even I am not immune to labels.
