Recovering Insomniac bids greetings!

Postby Dreamscout » 06 Mar 2016 14:47

Hello everyone! I'm a 20-somethin' aspiring voiceover artist and freelance composer and musician. I'm pretty sure I used to lucid dream a lot as a child (I recall even "picking" what dreams I wanted to replay again... we're talking some seriously heavy stuff here! @[email protected])
And I managed to do it twice. But that was almost five years ago!

Anyway, I've been struggling with insomnia (self-brought) and in trying to find ways to cope with and beat it, I remembered Lucid Dreaming... I noticed as a child that when I did it I rested very well and was much more alert the next day. Some of my best work and inspiration was created from those lucid dreams, some of 'em I still remember! An entire world... colorful characters (Oh, how I wish I could see that place again and talk to them again

Here's hoping I'll kill two birds with one stone: Beat insomnia once and for all and become lucid again!

Interesting, welcome!

Can I ask what you mean by self-brought insomnia?
