Can't enter Sleep Paralysis

Postby Klam » 21 Mar 2016 08:21

Hello everyone. I've been trying to achieve lucid dreaming via the WILD technique. I'll set an alarm for about 3-4 hours after I fall asleep. When I wake up, I count 1-10 forwards and backwards and repeat. After a while, I begin to feel like I'm falling forever. Hypnagogic imagery is visible. Because of the falling feeling, I get anxiety and it's hard to continue. I haven't gotten sleep paralysis get because this freaks me out to the point where I snap out of it. It almost feels like hypnic jerking, but not so sudden. Any help would be appreciated.

When you awaken after three or four hours you want to stay up for awhile maybe forty-five minutes.
Have some decaffeinated tea or read a book. THEN go back to bed.
