Sup, I'm grant. Learned about lucid dreaming bout a year and a half ago I'd say, and I went through many phases of trying it, meaning I attempted it for like two nights and then gave up. Just last week I've finally fully committed myself to start lucid dreaming no matter how long it takes. I'm honestly so excited about the whole process, even if I don't have a lucid dream right away.

Fall in love with dreaming in general of all kinds. That's my advice. Lucid dreaming is icing on the cake, but all dreams are memorable, and worth taking note of.

In fact, if you do focus on all dreams, and keep a dream journal, I feel that lucid dreaming is inevitable. Not work to strive for, but a happy happenstance.
If we all lucid dreamed this world would be a better place.
