WEIRD PHENOMENOM

Postby Luciddreamer007 » 25 Jun 2016 11:40

Hey guys,

every time I notice the process of myself falling asleep I feel that my body falls into an abyss and then, voila, Im in a lucid- dream scene.
Its intriguing me what causes this sensation of falling into an abyss.

Whats your opinion, people ?
everything is amplificated in dreams except memory

expect the unexpected

A LD is like being drunk: the morning after you dont remember everything, you get horny and when you hit the ground you dont feel pain

I'm not an expert on dreaming, but I just think this ''abyss'' is some sort of limbo between falling asleep and entering a dream. Like a door you enter before getting into a dream. I think everyone goes through that, but not everyone knows/remembers it.

hmm, im not an expert either but i do know that is indeed the transition from waking to sleep.
this phenomenon is called hypnagogia.

the falling into an abyss is caused by a sensory hallucination.
the experience itself is unique per person.

Ive always interpreted it was that first melatonin bump that your body gets when initially reaching hypnogogia. Now the science behind it........not I said the fly.
