Ah, here we go!

Postby Jennakas » 23 Oct 2016 13:55

Hi everyone!
My name is Jenna, I am from Finland. So English is not my native language. I apologize for that already :D feel free to correct me!

I've had couple lucid dreams here and there. I was actually 11 years old when I first read about lucid dreaming from internet and decided to give it a go. First WILD attempt was a success. After that I kinda forgot the whole thing and just lived my life, dreaming normally. I'm now 25 and have had maybe 15 lucid dreams which 4 of them has happened now in a week. So I'm still pretty new to this thing, but decided to join this forum and learn more since my subconscious is giving me sometimes hard time listening to me :D
(For example: I come out from a house and end up on glass porch but there isn't any doorway to get out. So I close my eyes (I know, I learned last night that it's highly risky to close your eyes in LD) and try to picture a doorway in front of me. My eyes shut, I walk forward and THUMP! hit the glass. I open my eyes and there has appeared a little doorway right next to where I just tried to walk :D)

I have tried WILD-technique, DILD-technique and last night tried MILD which was a success and gave me two short LDs.

I am looking forward to learn some more!

Welcome to the forum, I'm pretty new to lucid dreaming too! With the glass porch thing, you could try to make a hole in the wall and go through it, or if you want to risk it a bit you can try to walk through it but this does leave a risk of getting stuck in the wall. Good luck!

Thank you! Well it kinda solved itself when the doorway appeared right next to me :D
The point was that my subconscious doesn't always take my commands directly but adds a little twist to it :D Like in my last lucid I tried to create an entry door to a wall (I was in an apartment which had no doors).. and what appeared was a little closet door. But I did get out at least!

Is it ok if I copy your signature abit? (Count my lucid dreams, normal dreams and add the date when I started.) It's clever!
