Big Bear Eagle Cam - New Eagle Chicks - February 11 & 12, 2018

Postby jasmine2 » 14 Feb 2018 01:16

The flight of eagles can be an inspiration for lucid dreamers, and, of course the bald eagle is our country's national bird.

I recommend - take a look at -
"Big Bear Eagle Cam" - on YouTube.
(I can no longer view YouTube videos using Google Chrome. I have to use Mozilla Foxfire browser.)

Big Bear Lake is located in California east of Los Angeles.
The following videos show highlights of the incubation and hatching of the 2 eagle babies.

(1) "Bald Eagle Shelters Eggs During Big Bear Snow Storm." - 1.11.18
Skip to 2:00 Min. and 4:00 min. on video to see eagle parent and nest covered with snow. Only the parent eagle's head is sticking out of the snow. At 5:15 min. there is the sound of a tree falling down nearby.

(2) "Big Bear Eagle Cam - We Have a Hatch! Welcome to the World BB1" - 2.11.18

(3) "Big Bear Cam - Welcome to the World BB2 Hatches; Mom Steps on Baby SLOMO" - 2.12.18
It was scary when BIG Mom stepped on both tiny birds, especially bird #2, as soon as it hatched.

(4) "Big Bear Eagle Cam - A View of Babies Today" - 2.13.18
Both little chicks seem to be O.K., but there's still some snow.

It will be interesting when the parents start feeding the chicks more.
