Though apple juice is recommencd I prefer to just eat apples, like 5, and I've noticed they cause me to have very vivid dreams. Give it a try and let me know. Juice is actually unhealthy because of its high sucrose content.

I have been eating 3-5 apples a day for a long time even before I heard it helped with dreaming. and my dreams have been fairly vivid. What is it about the apples?

In this article from WOLD, Chris Hammond says he tried to find out, and there wasn't really an explanation besides a really distantly related study on apples increasing acetylcholine.... in mice!

He says its a myth, or could be a placebo effect. This was kind of a downer for me since I was hoping there was some galantamine in apples or something.

Here was an article that says foods that increase acetylcholine which is what a lot of dreaming supplements aim for.

Apparently egg yolks have a ton of choline. And it says raw liver can boost choline, which leads me to extrapolate as to people having lots of dreams after having red meat (taco dreams?). Unfortunately I don't eat animal products so I might have to supplement my choline. I hadn't realized that!
Here is a link to my dream journal if you want to know what I am up to in the dream world! :)
