sensing brain waves???

Postby tophergdavis » 07 Aug 2012 15:45

Is it possible to sense your own brainwaves? Occasionally when I'm going to sleep for an afternoon nap, I will feel a pulsing in my temples during hypnogogia, like a throbbing pulse, but it has a different quality to it. While meditating today with some theta isochronic tones, it occurred to me that that is the exact same quality and tempo to the pulsing I occasionally experience. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

I think I know what you mean, at least I experience something similar. While waiting to go to sleep sometimes I will feel an intense buzzing in my head and it usually leads to sleep paralysis, if you concentrate on the buzzing and the hypnogia then it can take you to some strange places.
