Trouble Getting To Sleep

I find that I have trouble falling asleep and sometimes it takes me over 2 hours to go into the world of sleep.
Because I am waking up in the middle of the night for LD techniques, I find that I am getting even more tired than usual because of both of these together.
How can I get to sleep sooner so that I can get more sleep time?

You have probably heard these tips before, but they work for me. I fall asleep very quickly every night.

1) Plenty of exercise. This will help you fall into a more regular sleeping pattern.
2) Try not to have any caffeine in the last 4 hours before bedtime.
3) Keep a journal. Not a dream journal; a regular journal where you write down your thoughts, ideas, plans, feelings, recent events or whatever you wish. I find that this helps to clear my head and it has definitely made me a more peaceful person.
