Hi. I've had 2 lucid dreams now - the first was about 2 weeks ago.

I am having a minor problem. I'm finding that if I go to sleep focusing my mind on having a lucid dream then I don't remember my regular dreams very well anymore. If i go to sleep telling myself I will remember my dreams then I do but I don't get a lucid dream. it's kind of a catch 22 thing.

Any advice?

eat a banana or a bit on honey before bed as these foods have an abundance on vitamin b6 which helps with memory.

If your having problems with affirmations, go a different route. Try to incubate a dream throughout the day and visualize it at night before you fall asleep. And if your not meditating regularly, MEDITATE! :) Meditation is one of the best things you can do to improve your dream recall and awareness! 20 minutes a day and you should be good, but if you don't have time for that, just do it whenever you can.
