hey all so i have recently discovered this whole lucid dreaming thing and found it fascinating. I started keeping a dream journal, meditating, and reality checking. To my surprise i had my first lucid dream about a week after starting all of this. In my dreams i recognize that iam dreaming but shortly after wake up or i stay dreaming without being able to control the dream. any tips on how i can stay lucid longer? thanks
In my first (and latest) lucid dream, i found it incredibly helpful to rub my hands together, and feel the texture of my palms. For me it felt a bit like touching your leg after it falls asleep, just before it returns to normal. It worked for me
