Lucid Dream Trance Induction - Wake Back to Bed (WBTB)

An interactive lucid dream trance induction, based upon the popular and effective 'Wake Back to Bed' technique. Explore your dreaming mind with guidance from author and researcher, Daniel Love.

This recording is designed to be used at night, roughly halfway through your usual sleep cycle. Set an alarm to wake you after four to five hours sleep, then listen to this recording. You will return to sleep after following the techniques outlined in the recording. This recording will be ineffective at any other time.

This is, to the best of my knowledge, the very first recording designed to directly guide dreamers during the practice of the Wake Back to Bed (WBTB) technique. WBTB is a very effective technique for inducing lucid dreaming, as it combines psychological practices with an interruption of the sleep cycle - offering an important shift in brain-chemistry that greatly improves the chances of lucidity.

You will also be returning to sleep during the most active period of your sleep cycle, where REM (dreaming sleep) is most prolific.

There is no "magic bullet" for inducing a lucid dream, it is a skill that requires both practice, education and dedication. However, the WBTB technique is one of the most effective; It is a very useful tool in aiding your development of this fantastic skill.

This recording builds upon the basics of the WBTB technique, and offers tried-and-tested additional practices that are designed to greatly increase the potency of your attempt. It also aims to induce a light trance state (a relatively easy task during the middle of the sleep cycle), in order to focus your mind on the task at hand.

Regular use of this recording is also recommended. If your first attempt is not a success, keep trying, it's worth it!

This recording is part of the community driven and funded project, Reality Nomad - aimed at sharing rational, scientific and effective information on lucid dreaming, virtual reality, science and the cosmos. The project is spear-headed by author, futurist and dream researcher, Daniel Love.
